Are you interested in getting involved in the Young Fabians Education Network? Do you have an idea for an event? Are you just keen to discuss Education policy? 

Whatever your interest, we would like to invite you to our first YF Education Network Steering Committee Meeting, where you will have the opportunity to stand for positions on the steering committee and discuss plans for the year ahead.

The three positions up for election include:
Secretary

Communications Officer

Vice-Chair

If you wish to stand as a candidate for the Education network steering committee, please observe the following guidelines:

• All candidates must be Young Fabian members to stand in a network election

• Candidates can opt to either:

1) self-nominate on the day
Or
2) send a 250-word written statement in support of their nomination to [email protected] by 5pm on Wednesday 15th March.  

Candidates will be asked to give a 2-minute speech and then will be given an opportunity to answer questions from the audience.

Audio / visual link will be available for candidates living outside London - please notify the Education Network Chair, Jacob Lloyd, in advance.
