Following the announcement of the snap General Election on 8th June 2017, Labour activists are heading out on the doorstep to campaign for our fantastic Labour MPs across the country.

This May, we're asking Young Fabian members to put on their canvassing shoes and come out with us to two seats in West London who need our help. We'll be canvassing for former Fabian Chair and MP for Feltham & Heston, Seema Malhotra, and Ruth Cadbury MP for Brentford & Isleworth.

Seema has been an enthusiastic advocate of the Young Fabians since her time as a member, and has continued to be a brilliant support to our organisation as Fabian Chair so we'll be out showing her our support ahead of June. Ruth beat an incumbent Conservative MP last time round, so let's get out there and help her out.

We'll be joining the local CLPs for a day of campaigning across the two neighbouring seats to help two of our exceptional female Labour MPs, so come along and join us!
