Join WHFS’s ‘Stop FGM Breakfast Chain’ Breakfast and celebrate International Women's Day, #make it happen 2015, and raise much needed funds for a fantastic charity.
Women's Health and Family Services (www.WHFS.org.uk), undertake the most incredible work in Tower Hamlets, one of the most deprived areas in this country. They provide grass root level support to survivors of female genital mutilation and undertake preventative awareness work in the community. WHFS is a multi-cultural charity focused on health and empowerment issues for disadvantaged women and their families.
A delectable breakfast will be provided at the Chambers of Michael Mansfield QC, 5 Chancery Lane, and there are a number of fantastic confirmed speakers. The breakfast is £25.00, and all profits go to the amazing charity working with survivors in Tower Hamlets. The event is organised by Charlotte Proudman, Barrister at the Chambers of Michael Mansfield QC and PhD candidate in Law at the University of Cambridge researching FGM in the UK.
