The event will bring discussion to bear on how to harness the power of tech clusters and universities across the West Midlands for social progress and stronger communities.
It will include an evening panel debate and discussion with an audience of students, business, tech start up community and community groups. After remarks from each speaker of approximately 5 minutes, there will be moderated interactive discussion between the panel and the audience.
The discussion will aim to cover the following issues:
• How are tech start ups already supporting stronger communities, sustainability and a better society in the West Mids?
• What are the keys to supporting successful tech start ups with social purpose?
• How can clusters of innovators across the Silicon Canal, Coventry and the region's Universities be better connected?
The event is pitched at students, the policy community in Coventry and Birmingham and technology start-up with social purpose.
