Nick Brown is one of the longest-serving Parliamentarians in Britain today, having served as MP for Newcastle East since 1983. During that time he's served as Minister for North East England; Minister for Work; Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries & Food; and as Labour's Chief Whip under 6 different leaders. 

In this event, you'll have a chance to hear from Nick and ask him about his career in politics, as well as meeting other Young Fabians across North East England for a social immediately afterwards.
