We would delighted if you would you join us at event to discuss the recent presidential and parliamentary elections in France.
Emmanuel Macron managed to secure 350 out of 577 seats with his party La République en Marche. After his landslide victory he got a free way for his promised reforms. How will this shape the country and European power relations? What does his election mean for the Brexit negotiations but also for the role of parties in the 21st century? How could he successfully secure this huge majority and what are the lessons for progressive forces in other countries?
We will be joined by Renaud Thillaye, Research Associate at Policy Network who will share his knowledge and insight with us .
