At the Fabian Summer Conference this year, the Young Fabians will be hosting a fringe event focusing on ‘What is the future of the youth movement?’ with an excellent panel of speakers.
Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership has been seen by many as a new generation of party politics and a change in political thinking. We are hoping to explore how the changes we have seen in the party recently have affected the youth movement; the impact it has had on youth disengagement; and whether, considering recent inquiries into BAME discrimination and anti-semitism, the youth movement will continue to have a place in the party in the years to come.
Panellists include:
Caroline Hill, National Young Labour Chair
Martin Edobor, National Young Fabians Chair
Bex Bailey, former NEC Youth Rep
Event chair: Ria Bernard, Young Fabian Vice-Chair
The event will take place between 13.30 - 14.30 in Invision Suite 1, TUC Congress Centre.
Come armed with your questions and experiences, and join the debate! We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
