This year, the Young Fabians 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday 12 November at the GMB Building in Cardiff. At this meeting, members will meet to vote on ratification of the 2022-23 Young Fabians Executive Committee and motions, as well as discussing ideas for a brand new year!
We'll start with a keynote speech and Q&A with Cardiff Council's Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Education, Sarah Merry and Monmouthshire Cllr and Welsh Fabians Chair Catherine Fookes who will be addressing the AGM to talk about Labour's success in Wales and what a Labour Britain will look like for young people.🌹
How to register
We'll run this as a hybrid meeting, to include as many of our members as possible.
If you're a Young Fabians member and you'd like to attend, please RSVP via:

- the 'Send RSVP' button below, if you'd like to attend in person.
Please note that in-person spaces are limited by the venue's capacity, so:
- if you become unable to attend after RSVP'ing, then we ask that you please cancel your RSVP so that someone else can have the space.
- if you try to attend in-person without RSVP'ing then we may not be able to guarantee you a place.
Motions
The deadline to submit motions was previously shared via email to everyone who subscribes to the Young Fabians' mailing list, and has now passed. Motions submitted will be circulated to all members in due course. If you're a member and you have not been receiving emails, please ask our Secretary Hollie ([email protected]) to forward them to you.
Pre AGM social
We'll be holding a social lunch before our AGM - all ages welcome!
This will be from 11am at Barburrito, St David's Shopping Centre Cardiff Bridge Street St David's Dewi Sant, Cardiff CF10 2EF

The AGM will close by 4:30pm and members attending in person are welcome to stay in Cardiff and socialise with one another informally afterwards or head back home as they wish!
