Political Evidence: From Polling to Superforecasting
If you want to change the world, you have to understand the world. But politics does not always make good use of evidence. In this online event, Oliver Marsh will explore how data can be used well in the complex and fast-moving world of modern politics.  Features prediction games and an election about aliens.
Oliver is the founder of The Data Skills Consultancy and a Fellow of the think-tank Demos.  He previously worked as a civil servant in No10 Downing Street, where he helped create the Rapid Response Unit, and on Data Policy at DCMS.  During the 2019 election he campaigned in the Chelsea & Fulham constituency, where he advised on communications and social media targeting.
