In his latest report, Winning 150, Cllr Luke Raikes (Fabian Society Research Director) mapped out the road to the next UK Labour Government by profiling the 150 seats where the party came closest to winning in 2019. With Labour needing to gain 123 seats to have a majority of one, this is the pool of constituencies which might become Labour’s target seats.

The challenge is stark. Labour needs to retake scores of 'Red Wall' and Scottish seats, appealing to swing seats in towns and rural areas as well as its urban heartlands. Nevertheless, it can be done with the right strategy.

So join us, Luke and Amy Dwyer (Chair, YF University of Manchester and YF Education Network) on Tuesday 26 October at 7pm at Room F17, Friends Meeting House Manchester, to hear more about the seats Labour needs to win: and to discuss ideas on how it can accomplish this.

This event also runs alongside the YF Economy & Finance Network's project on Reclaiming Labour's Heartlands, which is due to report next year after a great series of events 🌹
