Young Fabians Executive 2013-2014: Equalities Officer (Co-opted)

I am the Young Fabians Equalities Officer and new to the role this year.Outside of the Young Fabians, I am currently undertaking a PhD in Sociology at Goldsmiths College, University of London, conducting research on neoliberal polices and Gender equalities. Prior to this I have worked in a number of non-governamental organisations and charitable trusts which are concerned with  matters of equalities in different areas. Therefore, coming from an "equalities background', I hope to use my knowledge and experience to ensure that the Young Fabians Equalities programme is both diverse and attentive to the needs of members.
