The Young Fabians Technology, Defence, and Cybersecurity Network is holding a roundtable event discussing prioritisation and opportunities in the UK NewSpace market and government space policy, alongside wider industry debates and trends.
With huge opportunities and investments burgeoning in the UK, and launch from Scotland promised in 2022, Britain’s modest influence on the world’s space economy is set to expand. As policymakers turn aspirations into actions, this is a critical time to discuss the sector to ensure vital priorities and dangers aren’t overlooked.
You can register for the Zoom roundtable event on Thursday 1st of April here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAof-qoqzkjG9WWJj5M9MOjlAamDnomssWr
As this roundtable, moderated by YF Chair of the Technology, Defence, and Cybersecurity Network Marcus Storm, you'll hear from:
- Julia Balm, PhD student of Freeman Air and Space Institute (FASI) in the School of Security Studies, King’s College London researching effective space policy for the UK
- Laurence Russell, Journalist specialising in the space and satellite sectors
