We're proud that Young Fabians members are running for office as Labour candidates across Britain on 6 May! They've proven themselves to be dedicated activists and leaders: and if elected as councillors, they'll have the opportunity to improve their communities through their powers and advocacy.

If you've ever considered running for office but aren't sure where to start - or if you're just interested in hearing from and supporting young candidates - then we hope you can join us for our roundtable at 6pm on Monday 5 April, and the Young Scottish Fabians' election rally on Monday 12 April (registration info to follow).

You can register for the Zoom roundtable event on Monday 5 April here.

As this roundtable, chaired by YF Communications Officer Laura Cunliffe-Hall, you'll hear from:

  • Brad Baines, Labour & Cooperative candidate for Isis division, Oxfordshire County Council.
  • Milo Barnett, Labour candidate for Humshaugh, Northumberland County County.
  • Tina Bhartwas, Labour & Cooperative candidate for Letchworth North, Hertfordshire County Council.
  • Helen Clarke, Labour candidate for North Manor, Bury District Council.
  • Jonathan Quin, Labour candidate for Bagshot, Windlesham & Chobham, Surrey County Council.
  • Will Sellers, Labour candidate for Tottington, Bury District Council.

We'll be sharing more info on how to support their campaigns on our Twitter and Facebook pages, so give us a follow if you'd like to get involved!
