Join the Young Fabians Communications Network as we discuss the relationship between polling data and news coverage.
We are delighted to be joined by political scientist Professor John Curtice for our upcoming discussion on the relationship between polling data and news coverage.
Professor Curitice is a long-time pollster and political scientist based at the the University of Strathcyde. He is perhaps most famous for running the BBC's election night exit polls and data analysis, which have a record of accuracy that have been unmatched by most other major pollsters in recent election cycles.
In this discussion he will give us his thoughts on the importance of opinion polls for informing the political debate and coverage, how that relationship and grown in recent decades, and how he sees it developing in the coming elections.
