Join us for this special policy impact workshop, where we will be discussing how to create, shape and implement public policy, with Fabian Society Executive member and former PPC, Sarah Sackman.
While we have been focusing on policy development through publication of several pamphlets this year, how we influence policy-making is equally essential to maximise the impact of our policy ideas - ensuring our research reaches the broadest scope of political influencers.
This workshop is designed to give Young Fabians the skills needed to understand and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of policy-making. We will discuss the steps necessary to turn ideas into policy and will learn how to translate policy ideas into party policy; contribute to legislative reform through the Parliamentary process; and increase the impact of our research and policy ideas.
You will have the chance to express your ideas to continue the Young Fabians tradition as the only youth-led think tank which generates research aimed at creating change for the future.
