*All aboard the Young Fabians Campaign Train!*
On 28 and 29 March we will be heading to four key seats in the North West.
Saturday 28th we will be embarking on a three seat challenge by rail, with doorstep on the seats of Warrington South, Weaver Vale and the City of Chester. After a return to Manchester for evening social, we will head out on Sunday 29th to the local key seat Manchester Withington.
This campaign day is in association with North West Labour Students and Co-operative Party Youth.
Under 31 members who join the Fabian Society after the 20th March and by the campaigning weekend will be entitled to travel expenses up to £20! In addition joining the Fabian Society will entitle you to a free Fabian Society summer conference ticket to be held on the 6th June. To make use of this offer just join the Fabians today.
Candidates: Nick Bent, Julia Tickridge, Chris Matheson and Jeff Smith
Constituencys: These four key seats in the North West are 17, 22, 31 and 44 on Labour's 2015 target list.
On Saturday, our timetable for the day is:
- Warrington Central [WAC] at 11:30
- Warrington South Doorstep 2 hours
- 13:26 Warrington Bank Quay [WBQ] to Frodsham [FRD] 13:37
- Weaver Vale Doorstep 2 hours
- 15:38 Frodsham [FRD] to Chester [CTR] 15:53
- Chester Doorstep 2 hours
- Return to Manchester for a meal and drinks!
We will also be joined by Alison McGovern MP for part of Saturdays campaigning!
Those heading through by Manchester, we will be meeting at Piccadilly at 10:30.
On Sunday we will be out to support Jeff Smith of Manchester Withington at 11:15am. We will be meeting at Unit 2, 29 Copson St, Withington, M20 3HE on the 42, 43, 111 and 179 bus route.
