The 2020s have brought huge international challenges: including intense climate change, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the humanitarian emergency in Afghanistan. The world's most marginalised people face the greatest harms from these.

Yet despite Boris Johnson's talk of a Global Britain, his Government has abolished DFID and scrapped the 0.7% aid commitment. Instead of reforming aid to make it more just and effective, the UK seems to be abandoning its promises to the rest of the world.

We hope you can join us on 7 September to speak with Preet Gill MP, Labour's Shadow Secretary of State for International Development.

In this round table you'll have the chance to share your questions and ideas on how Labour can hold the Government to account over international development, and create a better alternative.
