Following Labour's defeat in the 2015 General Election, the Health and Social Care Act will not be repealed. The Young Fabians therefore invite you to an event to discuss how the Labour Party can shape health policy from the ground up. The discussion will be framed around the influence of local government and how Labour-run councils, or Labour councillors on scrutiny committees can actually help shape health policy from the ground up.

Cllr Sam Stopp, Secretary of the Young Fabians, Health network (Chairing)

Cllr Jim Dickson, Lead Member for Health, Lambeth

Dr Martin Edobor Vice-Chair, Young Fabians

Following the discussion we will continue the debate at the Old Star Pub nearby.
