Join us on 13 July to hear from Mayor Andy Burnham, Cllr Shama Tatler and Chris Worrall on homelessness and housing 🏘️

During lockdown, local authorities were told to get 'everybody in', raising prospects of an end to people having to sleep rough on Britain's streets. But now the recovery is underway, and we face the end of this support as well as the end of the evictions ban. All of this is happening against a backdrop of a long-running housing affordability and quality crisis in much of our country.

So, how can Labour respond nationally, locally and in the metro mayoralties? For this discussion, the Young Fabians' Amy Dwyer and Conrad Fallon will be joined by:
🌹 Mayor Andy Burnham, who's had great success at tackling rough sleeping. He recently launched a new homelessness prevention plan based around new social housing.
🌹 Cllr Shama Tatler, Lead Member for Regeneration, Property & Planning in London Borough of Brent.
🌹 Christopher Worrall, Labour Housing Group Executive Committee member and Editor of Red Brick Blog: The Place for Progressive Housing Debate.
