Ahead of President Trump's planned visit to the United Kingdom, the Young Fabians International and Communications Networks will be in conversation with a journalist who has been at the heart of the action in the US.

David Smith has been the Guardian's Washington Bureau Chief since the start of the 2016 election cycle, and had covered the many events that have marked the Trump Administration. Earlier this year, he became the first journalist to report on Michael Wolfe's explosive book Fire and Fury, and has regularly attended the White House Press briefings
