Join the Young Fabians for a discussion on the necessary intersectionality of the environment movement.
The meeting will be held on Zoom: you can register here.
With the climate emergency disproportionately affecting women in the global south, and in the UK black and brown communities far more likely to live in areas with high air pollution, it is vital we centre the needs of marginalised communities in environmental activism.
Joining Holly Smith (Policy Officer, YF Environment Network) to speak on this topic are:
- Dr Halima Begum, Chair of the Women's Environment Network.
- Mya-Rose Craig, a young activist, birder and patron of Survival International.
