Speakers:
Kayte Lawton Senior research fellow, IPPR
Kitty Ussher Former Treasury minister and chair of Labour in the City
The final event in the One Nation Ideas Series project on socialism and capitalism will hear from two policy experts discussing the social and economic changes facing Britain in the 21st century. Kitty Ussher, former Treasury minister and chair of Labour in the City, will discuss how the economy is changing and what this means for the Left. Kayte Lawton, from leading progressive think-tank IPPR, will discuss their recent report 'The Condition of Britain' which sets out a vision and a policy agenda for the Left.

Together with us they will explore the relevance and meaning of major 20th century ideologies of socialism and capitalism in the 21st century, and will consider what a left political economy should focus on today.
We hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a great discussion. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
