Over 9000 Londoners die early every year because of the city’s toxic air. In fact, 95% of Londoners live in areas that exceed the healthy pollution limit by 50% or more. We are living in the midst of an air pollution crisis. So, what are the causes and what can be done?
Come along to the second in the International and Communications Networks’ climate change series to find out. We’ll be joined by Chair of the London Assembly Environment Committee Leonie Cooper, as well as climate change expert and editor of DeSmog UK Mat Hope. Together we’ll go through the causes of London’s air crisis, the steps being taken, and what remains to be done to make London air breathable again.
Doors open at the Fabian Society HQ at 7.30 we Hope to see you there !
