This event will look to how China will adapt into the role of a global power and whether it will embrace its new responsibilities or remain preoccupied with internal and regional issues. As part of the debate we will also discuss some of the main sources of conflict in China’s relations with the West, such as cyber-espionage, international human rights and the disputes over the South China Sea.
