2014 is a big year for the Labour Party. The local elections and the European Parliament elections will both happen on 22 May, and the Young Fabians have an important role to play in helping the Labour Party win across the country. In addition, the Scottish Referendum takes places on 18 September - we have got to work to keep Great Britain together.

The purpose of this initial meeting is to gather a small group of Young Fabians who are interested in co-leading our campaigning efforts in the lead up to the local and European elections. This year's Campaigns Programme is an opportunity for all members: some will be veteran campaigners who can share their experience, while others will see it as an opportunity get more campaigning experience.

The purpose of the Campaigns Team is to help shape and lead our Campaigns Programme.

At the meeting we will address the following key questions:

  • What do we want in our Campaigns Programme?
  • Where should we focus our campaigning efforts?
  • What do you as a member want to get from the Campaigns Programme? For example, what campaigning training would you like to have?
If you want to help shape and lead our Campaigns Programme from the start, join us!
