For many young people today, housing is a constant source of anxiety and frustration, and a reminder of Britain's deep inequalities. It doesn't have to be this way.

The Young Fabians' upcoming report - Britain's Broken Housing Sector - provides a platform for young people's lived experiences of the housing crisis across the country, and their policy ideas to solve it.

In this event at the Labour Party Conference Fabians' Fringe, we'll hear from Cllr Sharon Thompson and the authors of the report on how to make housing decent, affordable, and sustainable in an age of climate change. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences and ideas.

The Fabians' Fringe is happening 5 minutes' walk from the Conference complex, in the Glyndebourne Room on the second floor of the Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront Hotel (which is wheelchair-accessible). The venue is outside the ticketed area, which means that this event, and many others in the Fringe, will be free to attend even if you don't have a ticket. We hope to see you there!

We'd like to thank UNISON Labour Link for sponsoring our report, which helped make this project possible.
