As some of you may be aware at their first meeting the new Exec voted to create a new BAME Advocacy Group. This group will be a space that young BAME Fabians can call our own. To celebrate and get input from our members, we are holding our inaugural meeting on the 16th January.

For our first meeting, we having a discussion on what our focus should for the next year and we can best achieve the aims set out for the Group when it was created:

-To work to increase the number of BAME members of the Young Fabians.
-To ensure that BAME members feel able to engage with all the Society has to offer.
-To work with the wider Society to make sure BAME people are never an afterthought when it comes to policy.
