Ireland voted to Repeal the Eighth Amendment and has paved the way to safe, legal, accessible abortions.
Northern Ireland remains an outlier, and around 800 pregnant people travel from Northern Ireland to England to have an abortion each year.
Earlier this year, Parliament debated repealing s58 and 59 of the Offences Against the Person Act, which would open the way to creating abortion access in Northern Ireland.
Despite cross party support, nothing has been done.
Why does Northern Ireland still not provide access to abortion? Why won't Westminster step in? How can we help women in Northern Ireland?
To discuss these questions and more, come along to our round table event.
Speakers will be Caitlin de Jode and Jane Wells from the London Irish Abortion Rights Campaign.
The event will be chaired by Charlotte Norton.
