Have you ever been curious to know what it takes to be in local government? To be in opposition, to lead, to deliver a service, or to scrutinise? Well, come to our event on the 6th of July, as we host a Councillors Workshop to give you a chance to know all this and much more.
From 10 am to 3 pm, we will be hosting four councillors, each one providing a workshop, giving people who are interested in joining local government a chance to know what it takes to be in local government. What skills, experiences and actions are needed to get where they are and to be effective in their roles.
