No One Ever Told Me About Politics is an initiative by a group of volunteers in their 20s and 30s who want to get more people that age involved in politics. They have just launched a really exciting new project they would like you to hear about.
They are doing a 'crowdfunder' (asking lots of people to pledge money) to create a new app they have been developing. It's called Ask Amy and it makes finding out about politics as easy as texting a friend: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/askamy
You send a message to Amy, who is like a virtual friend. She answers you right back, giving a fresh, new, approachable way for anyone to ask whatever they want about politics. She speaks a language people our age relate to, without any of the usual jargon, party political spin or older male voices you normally hear.
They are aiming to raise £5,000 in the next four weeks to develop the full Ask Amy app and launch it in January, in time for the run-up to the election.
There's also some more info on the project here if you'd like to find out more and see more of the Ask Amy app in action: www.askamy.net
