The Young Fabians will be joined by the Shadow Foreign Secretary to explore the topic of whether an active foreign policy is important. Douglas will be talking about his new book “Influencing Tomorrow: Future Challenges in Foreign Policy”, talking about his view of Britain's Role in the World and answering questions. 

The series will look at are looking at a broad range of issues including how we balance our interests with our values post Syria; how foreign policy can promote economic prosperity; how should we best help people in conflict areas and in developing countries; how we should best protect our national security.
