Young Fabians Executive 2012-Present

Previous Positions: Anticipations Editor, Deputy Blog Editor 2011-2012, Anticipations Design Editor: 2011-2012

I've been a Fabian member since university, finding in the organisation a home for my brand of politics and a diverse range of friends to debate it with.

The Young Fabians have taught me that there is a place for young people in politics besides on the doorstep or in the phone bank. Our ideas and opinions deserve to be featured in current political discourse. If we allow them to go ignored, the society we inherit will be a harsher and more difficult place for the generations that come after us to thrive in.

I don't want young people's voices to be silenced. The Young Fabians offer our generation a platform on which to shout and be heard. If you are a young person, I urge you to join us and shape the future of left-wing politics in Britain.

This is my second year as editor of Anticipations magazine. I put all my love and care into each issue, but if you have any ideas on how it can be improved, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
