The Young Fabians: 60th Anniversary History Project

The Young Fabians: 60th Anniversary History Project. Edited by Milo Barnett and Hollie Wickens. Foreword by Mark Leonard.

The Fabian Society was founded in 1884 and its youthful counterpart was founded by the late Dick Leonard in 1960.  We are hoping that this Young Fabians 60th Anniversary History Project collection will be a springboard for future projects, whether directly linked to the Fabians archive or to wider British political history, and look forward to hearing more from current and former members to add to our wider understanding of both Fabians and the Young Fabians over time.

This project includes a foreword from Mark Leonard, the founder and Director of the European Council on Foreign Relations, and an acclaimed political science author and broadcaster. Mark’s father is Dick Leonard, who founded the Young Fabians in 1960.
