What should Tristram Hunt be pushing to get included in Labour’s education manifesto? How can he genuinely speak to our students, teachers and parents to tell a new story on educational excellence?

Rather than closing things down as we get closer to the election, we believe Tristram has to continue to open up, and harness the ideas, energy and passion of our nation’s teachers and students.

We want you to help to shape Tristram’s top ideas and messages for the next election and identify where Labour needs to push beyond its current position if it is to be genuinely bold on education.

And while you get to work we want you to connect to the new influencers, campaigners and politicians you'll need to ensure your ideas get delivered in the long term.

While Tristram prepares to deliver his speech at 2.15 we'll be joined by Labour members of the Education Select Committee, Bill Esterson MP and Ian Mearns MP. We'll also have a wider range of speakers and actors from across the Labour education movement and of course, teachers and young people from local schools.

At the end of the event, and in plenty of time we'll head across to the conference hall to hear Tristram and continue the debate at #Tristramslist
