Swift action is needed to combat climate change, and finance is crucial to this. However, our current model for funding the green economic transition too often places the costs on those who can least afford it, whilst delivering slow progress on decarbonisation. We need fresh ideas to change this.

In this event, we will hear from frontline experts in one of Britain's great financial cities: Leeds. Confirmed speakers include:

- Alex Sobel, MP for Leeds North, member of the Environmental Audit Committee and former social enterprise professional;

- John Barrett, Professor of Energy & Climate Policy at the University of Leeds

- Dr Anne Owen, UK Energy Research Centre;

- Ian Rigarlsford, Ecology Building Society.

Please come along to hear from our speakers and join the discussion!
