Young Fabians Executive 2013-2014: Fundraising Officer (co-opted)

As Fundraising Officer, I will work closely with the Treasurer and the Executive with the aim of diversifying our donor portfolio across industry sectors. In doing so, we hope to increase our revenues and reserves considerably, thereby helping to guard our sustainability as an organisation.

Although my involvement with the Young Fabians is relatively recent, I have been an active member this year, having been a part of the Policy Commission on Youth Employment, an AMREF Ambassador via the Health Network, as well as attending sessions and events hosted by the Foreign Policy Network.

Outside of the Young Fabians, I currently work as a Grants Manager at the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which is the leading HIV charity in the UK and one of the top private donors towards the epidemic in the world. Prior to this I worked at Goldman Sachs on their London trading floor in Hedge Fund Sales.
