Join Clive Lewis MP, Polly Billington (SERA) and India Bourke (New Statesman) at the launch of the new Young Fabian Environment Network

From runaway climate change to mass extinction, our environment is in crisis - and we need radical change across the whole of society to confront the challenges we face.

We can't treat the environment in a green silo, nor can sustainability be dealt with as a nice-to-have add-on. Wider change is needed, from the way we apply policy decisions and how we communicate them to our economic model. We can't fix the environment through more wind turbines alone.

How can we break environmentalism out of its green silo?
Why do environmental challenges demand a change to the status quo?
How can we mobilise popular support to make the changes we need, and build a green new deal?

We'll be joined by a stellar panel from across the environmental movement and the left:
*Clive Lewis MP*
Shadow Treasury Minister - on the economic shifts we need to see for a green new deal
*Polly Billington*
Executive Member, SERA - on the power of mobilising local communities and leading beyond Westminster
*India Bourke*
Environment Writer, New Statesman - on the role of story-telling in mobilising change
*Mhairi Tordoff* (Chair)
Chair, Young Fabian Environment Network
