Fabian New Year Conference - "Causes to Fight For" and Young Fabians Lunchtime Event: "50 Years Young" - Celebrating Half a Century of our history and achievements Saturday 16th January 2010, Imperial College, London - 10.00-17.30The Young Fabians will be hosting a lunchtime event at the Fabian Society's New Year Conference on Saturday 16th January 2010, from 1300-1400 to kick off our 50th Year celebrations in 2010. The event will feature past and present members talking about some of the recent work that the Young Fabians have done such as our campaign trip to Ohio during Barack Obama's Presidential campaign. There will also be a discussion of the historical work of the Young Fabians, particularly some of our past publications such as "Stopping the Far Right." In tune with conference theme, we will also be examining what are the causes that young people want to fight for and that have engaged them in politics. Book a ticket to attend the conference
