Young Fabian Policy Commissions

Labour is currently putting together a manifesto which will hopefully deliver a fourth term in government, and the Young Fabians are engaging in the policy process. We have formed six policy commissions, mirroring the Party's commissions, and covering all aspects of policy. Each group has been holding meetings with the MPs who are feeding their views into the manifesto process including a very successful meeting with Ed Miliband.

Ed Miliband-small.jpgThe commissions are open to all Young Fabians, so if you have experience in an area of policy, we would very much like you to get involved. If you live outside London, you can submit your views by email and the group Chairs will make sure that these views are heard. Please contact the Chair of the commissions you would like to contribute to below. If you are not a yet a Young Fabian but would like to get involved you can join us here:

Britain in the World: Mark Rusling
Creating Sustainable Communities: Patrick Woodman
Crime, Justice, Citizenship and Equalities: Kate Groucutt
Education and Skills: Tom Flynn
Health: Emma Carr
Prosperity and Work: Rebecca Rennison

Details of the Labour Party's policy commissions including the policy areas they are focused on, their membership and their findings so far can be found on the Labour Party website.
