Peter Ptashko

Fundraising Officer

Peter has been a member of the Young Fabians for the past 3 years and joins the Exec this year for the first time. Having grown up in Nottingham in the East Midlands, he went to University in the West Midlands - at the University of Warwick, where he studied Politics, following this with a Masters degree in Globalisation & Development and helped run his Students' Union for a year, as Vice President.

He now lives and works in London and Oxford in the Third and Higher Education sectors as Development Manager for a leading social enterprise: 'Student Hubs' - connecting students with social action. He leads on fundraising, networks and research.

He is an active member of the Party, and has held elected office at local ward, CLP and socialist society-level. A fellow of the RSA, his many interests include: young people, volunteering, the politics of social change, travel and the arts.
