Wednesday 7th December, 6-8pm Simons, Muirhead and Burton, 8-9 Frith Street, London, W1D 3JB - Round table discussion with Toby Perkins, held jointly with the Labour Finance & Industry Group and the Young Fabians - Break-out round table discussion chaired by Vincenzo RampullaFollowing the recent successful launch of our 2010/2011 Young Fabian Policy Commission pamphlet Ambitions for Britian's Future, we are launching an extended version of the Economic Policy Commission's paper (download below) on Wednesday 7th December through a roundtable discussion, where Toby Perkins, Shadow Minister for Small Business, will be speaking. The event is being kindly hosted by Simons, Muirhead and Burton and refreshments will be provided. There will also be a breakout roundtable event starting at 7:15pm to discuss how we can improve 2011/2012's policy work.
Some of the issues this breakout session with be looking at include: - lessons we should be learning from 2010/2011's work,
- how we can reach more members through our policy work, and
- what are the key issues/ areas of policy we should be looking at in 2011/2012.
Don't worry if you cannot make the meeting on the 7th but have suggestions in respect of the Young Fabian's 2011/2012 policy work. We'll be running a webchat for out of London members on the 8th at 6.30pm (below) so there's ample opportunity to feed in your thoughts. To rsvp please email
