James Roberts 

Membership Officer  

James is a doctoral researcher in Politics at the University of Liverpool from where he also holds an MA in 20th Century History, after completing a BA in History. His thesis in on "Intra-party factionalism, the Labour movement and central-local government relations 1964-1992."

He is the Labour and Co-operative councillor for Greenbank Ward on Liverpool City Council.

As Membership Officer, with a strong focus on the regional activity of the Young Fabians, he plans to implement an effective infrastructure for ensuring YF events and policy-making are distributed equitably around the UK. He will also look to act as a point of contact for any member who wishes to develop themselves professionally or showcase their talents.
