Making Better Policy: The challenges of Opposition

Join us at the Institute for Government (IFG), and online, as we look at the challenges of making successful public policy in government and opposition.  

We will hear about work the IFG has been doing analysing past policy successes and how those came about with interesting messages on preparation for government and impact while in opposition.



We'll be joined by:
  •     Lord Adonis - Former Secretary of State and Director of the Institute for Government;
  •     Lord Wood - Recently ennobled chief Labour strategist and Shadow Minister without Portfolio;
  •     Sam Sims and Ed Marshall - Researchers at the Institute for Government

As with our recent New Members' Reception, members interested in this event are welcome to bring a friend.
