Eton and Castle ward, Windsor

A by-election has been called for the Eton and Castle ward in Windsor on the 11th of August.

Please join Young Fabian member Amanjit Jhund on the 6th of August to help campaign in Eton, and to plant the Labour flag firmly in the heartland of Cameron's Conservativism.

With the Summer holidays the senior pupils and most of the teachers will be absent from the constituency which will in turn cut the traditional conservative majority in the area, combined with the potential split of the Conservative vote by a UKIP candidate and the collapse of the Lib Dem vote in Windsor this represents the best chance in a generation to turn both Eton College and Windsor Castle Red.

Meeting at the Waterman's Arms Pub at 1pm just off Eton High street. It's 5 minutes walk from either of the main stations.

A train service takes 25 mins from London Paddington to Windsor Central train station.

After the event we will adjourn to one of the local pubs by the river for some food and refreshments.
