| Young Fabians School Scheme |
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Young Fabian members to become YF School Representatives. Many young people today may have an interest in politics, but not any idea of how to get involved. We want to take structured discussions groups/workshops into schools to create more awareness and understanding of the political world. We hope that this will be a nationwide scheme to take opportunities to the rest of the country, not just London. We will provide a full support system and training.
To kick start the scheme we are looking to recruit a small organising committee to get things off the ground. The members of the committee can then head up the scheme in their local areas, to create a number of teams making up a big network. Once this has been established the committee will play a key role in recruiting the representatives to go into schools.
