Saturday 12th March, 13:00 - 16:30, The Friends Meeting House, Manchester Getting Noticed in the North gives Young Fabian and Labour members and supporters living outside of London the chance to meet others and take part in a day focused on making an impact on the political scene. The event will be a half day informal skills building workshop led by people with real experience and achievements in making an impact on the political scene from across the UK. Opening the day will be Ivan Lewis MP, Shadow Secretary for Culture, Media and Sport and MP for Bury South. With one successful writing workshop already completed, we’re please to announce a second skill development workshop, this time specifically aimed for members outside of London.
