Tom Flynn is the Young Fabians' International Officer, having previously held the positions of Website Officer and Treasurer. Having completed a Degree in Economics and an MA in Interactive Production, he worked for the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Southampton University, where he was co-chair of his UNISON Branch and Labour Link Officer. He now works for a public sector trade union. Tom is an active member of the Labour Party and was the candidate for the marginal ward of Freemantle for the 2006 Southampton City Council elections. He has held a number of roles in Constituency Labour Parties including Membership Secretary, Press & PR Officer and Branch Secretary. Having moved to South London recently, he is currently an organiser in his new ward. Tom has helped organise a number of Young Fabian events including a seminar on ID Cards with John Denham MP and a debate on the threat posed to Labour by David Cameron. Contact Tom:
