Secretary and Communications Manager

This is Alex's fifth year on the Young Fabian Executive, making him the longest serving member of the current Executive Committee.

As Secretary, Alex will coordinate the activity of the Executive and provide administrative support, such as minuting meetings of the Executive. He will also be responsible for sending the weekly update to Young Fabian members and supporters.

Alex will also take on a broader communications brief, looking at the way the Young Fabians communicate with its members, stakeholders and opinion formers. Alex was previously Editor of Anticipations, and New Media Officer for the Young Fabians.

Alex is a professional economist, specialising in regulatory and competition economics. He works for a public service broadcaster, and previously worked as a consultant with a large professional services firm.
