As part of the Aspiration and Equality PDG, an online webchat took place here on Thursday 19 August 2010 at 6.30pm.

The webchat will focus on the issue of support in and out of school – e.g. Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) and access to new experiences.

 The discussion will ask:

• What more can be done to ‘sell’ learning and education as an end in itself and can this change aspirations?
• How can we impact upon young people’s lives and decisions in the short or medium term?
• Can we use new technologies to meet young people where they are operating (i.e. online spaces)?
