As someone who has been involved in youth work for the past ten years James has a keen interest in raising political awareness and activity among young people. As Schools Project Officer James will support Young Fabians as they help teachers in various schools deliver citizenship education. James will also be organising a number of speaker events throughout the year that will take a closer look at the role that citizenship education plays in Britain today. James works in Parliament for Parmjit Dhanda MP, Member of Parliament for Gloucester and Community Cohesion Minister. He has ten years experience working in youth work and ran a large youth organisation in North London before taking on his current role. James is an active member of the Labour Party and regularly campaigns in his CLP of Hampstead and Kilburn. Contact James:
